EU Policies Driving Biomethane Adoption:
The Renewable Energy Directive (RED II) sets ambitious targets for renewable energy consumption, requiring at least 14% of energy used in road and rail transport to come from renewable sources like biomethane by 2030, while ensuring strict sustainability criteria for its production.
