AFS Energy played a pivotal role in facilitating the new corporate power purchase agreement (PPA). Specializing in renewable energy procurement, AFS Energy assists companies in securing long-term contracts with energy producers, ensuring price stability and supporting sustainability goals.

The 'Fit for 55' package is a cornerstone of the European Green Deal, designed to make the EU climate-neutral by 2050. It includes measures like the revision of the EU Emissions Trading System, the introduction of a Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, and the establishment of a Social Climate Fund to mitigate the social impacts of the green transition.

The Dutch Emissions Authority (NEa) regularly publishes statistics on Renewable Energy Units (HBEs) through the Energy for Transport Registry (REV). Each HBE represents 1 gigajoule (GJ) of renewable energy delivered to the Dutch market.
